We welcome ideas for dynamic and interactive events to be held at SSPCR 2025.
We are looking for proposals for events that create a lively space to share ideas, discuss key topics and engage the audience. You can use your event to showcase project results, spark debates, or lead hands-on workshops.
Events can take many forms such as workshops, moderated debates, roundtables, world cafès, application testbeds, gaming or other innovative formats that complement the official program. These sessions offer great opportunities for informal exchanges, networking and collaboration. They can be used to demonstrate successful approaches, test new ideas, find potential partners and inform and inspire each other. Your event should focus on one or more themes or sub-themes of the conference. They must be interactive, practical and action-oriented.
To propose an event, you should think about
A title and a description that are compelling and concise
The duration of the event.
The format: you are free to select choose the format, such as a traditional round table, workshop, discussion group, fish-bowl format, testbed session for an app or tool..
Any equipment you need.
The number of participants that you wish to engage. At least 10 participants are needed.
Selected event proposals will be invited to bilaterally discuss details with the conference organisers. Your event will be included in the conference program only once logistic and budget details are confirmed.
Once confirmed, you should promote the event in your professional network.
The registration to the event will take place through the conference registration system. Please note that event participants need to register to the conference and pay the conference fee.
The deadline for the submission is the 15th of April 2025.
The Scientific Committee will evaluate your proposal according to:
Interest to the conference audience
Novelty of the research, project, topic
Contribution to innovative planning policies and tools
If your proposal is accepted, you will be contacted by the 30th of May to discuss the event organisation.
