NOI – Nature of Innovation. South Tyrol’s technology park connects companies, researchers and students so innovation can thrive. Located on the grounds of a former aluminum production plant in the southern part of Bolzano, NOI Techpark is a great working and living environment, with a business incubator for start-ups, workplaces and laboratories as well as catering services and cultural offers. The technology park’s coworking spaces, open-air theatre, park and restaurant/bar are open to anyone looking to immerse themselves in this innovative environment.
Information on Facilities & Structure
The Seminar Area of NOI Techpark offers a variety of seminar rooms with capacities ranging from 40 to 450 people, all featuring flexible setups to suit customers’ needs for any event. During the SSPCR conference, the following spaces are available:
Seminar Room 1 (up to 250 people)
Seminar Room 2 (up to 150 people)
Seminar Room 3 (up to 63 people)
Seminar Room 4 (up to 40 people)
All rooms are equipped with modern, flexible technology and are connected through the Foyer, which serves as an ideal space for catering and exhibitions. Additionally, there are unique spaces such as the Chapel – a former chapel of the aluminium industry, now transformed into a fully equipped meeting room for 16 people.
NOI Techpark is easily accessible by public transport or by bike through the main entrance at A. Volta 13/A. For those arriving by car, the facility provides an underground parking lot and several parking options nearby.

Travel to Bolzano/Bozen
Because of its geographical location, Bolzano/Bozen is one of the most important trade centers in the Alpine region. It can be reached by a variety of transport options.
Arriving by train
Train connections with major cities north and south of the Alps
The Brenner railway ensures fast and frequent connections with all major cities both north and south of the Alps, thanks to EuroCity, high-speed, regional and even night trains. Amongst others, there are direct connections to and from Munich, Innsbruck, Vienna, Milan, Rome and Bologna.
The Bolzano/Bozen train station is located in the town center, approximately a ten-minute walk from the headquarters of Eurac Research and from the main hotels.

Fly to South Tyrol
South Tyrol’s Bozen Dolomiten regional airport is located on the southern outskirts of the capital.
Sky Alps offers regular scheduled flights from German cities such as Düsseldorf, Berlin, Hamburg, Stuttgart as well as from Antwerp and Copenhagen to Bolzano/Bozen and return. The SASA city lines 10A and 10B run at regular intervals between Bolzano Airport and the town center, as well as the bus and railway stations in Bolzano.
Taxi stands are located directly in front of the Bolzano railway station as well as at the airport terminal. The transfer from the railway station to the airport takes about 15 minutes.
The next closest airports are Verona and Venice to the south and Innsbruck to the north. Additional airports in the area include: Munich, Treviso, Bergamo, Bologna and Milan.
