Environmental geographer. By adopting a GIScience approach he is working on urban Climate Justice, socio-environmental impacts of anthropic activities and on biodiversity with a focus on fossil fuel production in Amazon rainforest, on urban and rural sustainability in Italy, and participatory processes in geovisualization of territorial changes and empowerment. He is responsible of the GIScience and Drones for Good Laboratory (ICEA Department), assistant professor in "Unmanned Aerial Vehicles and Digital Earth", “Geovisualization of Territorial Changes”, and “Climate Change and adaptation in ecosystems and societies at the ICEA Department (University of Padova, Italy); he is visiting professor in “Geographic Information Systems and Remote Sensing” at the Andean University Simón Bolívar (UASB, Quito, Ecuador).
