Francesca Ferretti is a junior assistant professor of structural engineering at the Department of Civil, Chemical, Environmental, and Materials Engineering of the University of Bologna. Her research is focused, both from the experimental and the numerical point of view, on the seismic vulnerability of existing masonry constructions and on the use of innovative materials for strengthening interventions. Thanks to the participation to national and international projects, she is also involved in research on the following topics: seismic risk at the territorial scale, multi-risk approaches for disaster risk reduction, sustainable concretes, BIM, use of pultruded rebars as reinforcements for reinforced concrete structural elements.
