Massimo De Marchi, PhD in Geography, is Associate Professor at Department at University of Padova. He is Academic coordinator of Jean Monnet Centre of Excellence on Just Fossil Fuel Transition; Academic coordinator of Centre of Excellence on Climate Justice; Coordinator of the Erasmus Mundus International Joint Master Programme on Climate Change and Diversity, Sustainable Territorial Development (CCD-STeDe). He is member of the scientific committee of PhD on Human rights and multilevel governance (University of Padua). His research focuses on adopting a qualitative GIScience approach, participatory processes, environmental conflict management, climate justice, and just transitions from fossil fuels in complex territories with high biological and cultural diversity.
