Associate Professor in Urban and Environmental Sociology
Associate Professor in Urban and Environmental Sociology at the Faculty of Political and Social Sciences (Università Cattolica del Sacro Cuore, Brescia Italy). She has a Ph.D. in Sociology and methodology of social research and two Master Degrees. Member of the Management Committee and Head of the Research Area, Postgraduate School for Environmental Studies (ASA) of the Catholic University (Brescia). She teaches, among other things, Environmental Sociology and Policies for sustainability. Main fields of research: socio-economic effects of sustainability policies, the interaction between urban environmental and socio-economic policies, environmental and social justice, energy poverty, governance in smart and green cities. In the past she also worked on - among other thing - environmental accounting system, environmental conflicts, tools for environmental communications. Other institutional activities: Rector's Delegate to take part in "Fondazione Cluster Tecnologie per le Smart Cities & Communities - Lombardia" plenary meetings of the Founders (2016 - ). Appointed by the Rector Member of the Steering Committee of the Cattolica Sostenibile - Sustainability UCSC initiative Appointed by the Rector Member of the Steering Committee of the online quarterly journal "Dictionary of the Social Teaching of the Church. The new things of the XXI century". Director of the Master's Degree in Climate Risk and Environmental Governance. Training and adaptation for Integral Ecology' Member of the Academic Board of the National Research Doctorate Course in Sustainable Development and Climate Change Co-director of the series 'Circular economy, sociological studies, education' for the Pensa Multimedia publishing house.
